1. Allegany State Park
A Western New York must-see, this state park is filled with a variety of activities to keep you busy! Equipped with swimming areas, Finger Lakes nature trails and hundreds of campsites, visiting this area has become a family tradition for many of our state's residents.
2. Adirondack High Peaks
With 46 of New York's highest mountains, the Adirondack High Peaks is a region that is a true heavenly space for any adventurer. While it takes time to conquer all these magnificent mountains, many of them have campsites along the way where you can make home for the weekend and tackle several peaks on your list.
3. Howe Caverns
If you're not interested in reaching great heights and seeing New York's beauty from above, then maybe you'd be interested in seeing the out-of-this-world formations that reside at Howe Caverns. Located in Schoharie County, this underground world is New York's second most visited attraction.
4. New York Zipline Adventures
Waiting for you at Hunter Mountain is the perfect solution to getting your adrenaline pumping wildly throughout your body. Featuring several zipline tours, here you'll get to experience some of our state's longest and tallest zipline adventures.
5. Bear Mountain State Park
Not far off from the Hudson River you'll find this splendid stat park with so much to offer. Not only does the park offer wonderful picnic areas and hiking, it also has museums and a zoo

Covering over 600 acres of New York, here you can find rugged land waiting to be explored and may even encounter a few breathtaking waterfalls along your way! While camping isn't available here, this preserve makes for a perfect day trip.

anywhere in New York is an unbelievable adventure to be had. At Whitewater Challengers, you can enjoy exciting experiences at several locations around the state. From the Hudson to Black River, you won't be disappointed in crossing this off your bucket list.
9. Thacher State Park
Featuring the well-known Indian Ladder Trail, this state park gives its visitors serene panoramic views from the top. With campsites, waterfalls, and wonderful hiking trails, this Upstate gem is great for any kind of adventurer.
10. Balloons Over Letchworth
