What’s Hiding Underground In New Mexico Will Drop Your Jaw
New Mexico’s landscapes are secretive – one moment the view is routine and then a bend in the road reveals an astonishing rock formation. So, it’s appropriate that Ra Paulette sculpts his masterpieces in an environment where the most beautiful places are often hidden. After all, Paulette is no ordinary sculptor. He tunnels into the earth, shaping caves and transforming them into underground works of art.
Paulette’s caves aren’t accessible to the public, because they’re on private property. Video footage and photographs are the closest most of us will get to his projects. What do you think of his work?
