Warm weather is finally here! If you’re a Minnesotan, this is cause for celebration. Luckily, there are hundreds – thousands, if you count each of our lakes – of great outdoor activities that will get you outside and into the sun. One of the most fun? A huge outdoor water playground called Bunker Beach Water Park. Located in Anoka County, its location is easily accessible for most Minnesotans. But even if you don’t live super close, one visit will make this your new favorite summertime destination.

This huge water playground is run by the county, so its admission is much more affordable than most amusement parks. It's $9 a day for guests under 48 inches tall, and $11 for those over 48 inches.

Every summer, it draws crowds for its many great activities. A series of water slides will offer exhilarating rides all day. There are six in total.

For younger guests, the adventure pool is a great way to splash around. It has a maximum depth of two feet, and plenty of water-based fun for little ones.
