9 Places In Alaska That Will Make You Wish You Lived Underground

We all know Alaska is well known for its many glaciers and mountains, and the perk about those two things is that there ends up being a lot of COOL places that exist underground. I mean “cool” both literally and figuratively because a lot of these caves look too chilly for words. These tunnels and caves give us an extraordinary look into the landscape of Alaska. It’s obvious after seeing these photos that there is much more than meets the eye when exploring the Last Frontier, or shall I say “Seward’s Icebox.”

Have you been to any of these incredible spots? Any other underground favorites that you would add to this list?

Casea Peterson
Casea Peterson grew up archery hunting, fishing, and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest. Motivated by her love for the outdoors she moved to Alaska to attend school and to spend time exploring the last frontier. If she doesn’t have a pen in hand or her nose in a book, she can be found out on a lake or up in the woods around a fire with friends.
