The Fourth of July is just around the corner, so you might be asking yourself, "Will there be any fireworks near me?" If you're wondering this, wonder no more! In 2015 and 2016, we shared the best places to watch fireworks in Alabama. This year, we've compiled a much better list.

1. Spirit of America Festival - Decatur

The Spirit of America Festival will take place on July 4 at Point Mallard Park, home of America's first wave pool. It's free to the public and includes one of North Alabama's largest fireworks shows. After a fun-filled day of activities, guests will head on over to the "Spirit of Freedom" field to watch the fireworks show, which will begin at 9:00 p.m. (2901 Point Mallard Drive)

2. 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at U.S. Space & Rocket Center - Huntsville

On July 4, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center will close at 5:00 p.m. to prepare for its annual fireworks display. This year's display will be one of its largest ever, and it'll begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. This fireworks show can be seen all over the city of Huntsville. (1 Tranquility Base)

3. Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration - Gulf Shores

On July 4, a spectacular fireworks show will begin at 9:00 p.m. in Gulf Shores. The fireworks will be shot from the southern end of Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier. Gulf State Park and Gulf Shores Public Beach are perfect places to watch the fireworks. Admission is free. (20800 E Beach Blvd)

4. Thunder on the Mountain Fireworks Show - Birmingham

The Thunder on the Mountain Fireworks Show is one of Alabama's best Independence Day celebrations. This annual event will take place at Vulcan Park on July 4. At 9:00 p.m., fireworks will illuminate the sky and last for approximately 20 minutes. This amazing fireworks show is free to the public. (1701 Valley View Dr)
