One Of The World’s Most Beautiful Winter Escapes Is Right Here In Wyoming
The silver lining to long Wyoming winters are the gorgeous landscapes they create. It may be treacherous to drive in at times, but it’s hard not to stop and stare in wonder when everything is layered in sparkling snow and accented with glittering icicles. As a matter of fact, one spot in Wyoming is so especially stunning covered in snow that it’s been named among the world’s most beautiful places to escape to in the winter. If you’ve ever been to Jackson Hole between October and April, we think you’ll agree.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Grand Teton National Park, the Grand Teton Mountain Range, Yellowstone National Park, and the National Elk Refuge are just some of the scenic places you can see in the Jackson Hole area.

If you're not into downhill skiing, there are plenty of other activities that will take you outside to appreciate the exquisite winterscape, including snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides through the Elk Refuge. Alternatively, indulge in some pampering while you enjoy the view from inside one of Jackson Hole's world-class spas.

You don't even have to have a private jet, either. There are regular commercial flights in and out of the Jackson Hole Airport, including non-stop flights from JFK, Houston, and Seattle/Tacoma.

Of course, the entire state is transformed once winter hits. What Wyoming spot do you think is a gorgeous place to escape to in winter?
