The 15 Places You Absolutely Must Visit In Wisconsin This Spring
It’s finally starting to feel like spring in Wisconsin. With the snow melted, Opening Day in the past and warmer weather moving in, it’s time to start planning ways to get out and explore Wisconsin. Here’s a list of some great places to get your list and imagination started:

Holler House -
This bar on Milwaukee's south side is actually home to the oldest sanctioned bowling lanes in the country. Pin boys set up the lanes, you borrow shoes from the regulars and you keep score on paper on the way. Basically, it's perfection.
LaCrosse Trolley Ride
This 90 minute tour around LaCrosse has tour guides from the historical society and is perfect for locals and tourists.
North Beach - Racine
If you didn't know any better, you'd swear this beach was located on some tropical island. There's 2500 feet of shoreline with a gorgeous, clean beach and plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
Canopy Tour - Lake Geneva
With more than 100 acres of land, sky bridges, zip lines, challenge courses and more, this amazing way to experience nature should totally be on your to-do list.
Julian Bay Beach - Apostle Islands
The unique "barking sand" of this beach make it an anomaly and something everything should experience at least once.
Cedar Crest Ice Cream Tour - Manitowoc
Located in Manitowoc, the headquarters of Cedar Crest is a great place to learn about how ice cream is made before indulging in the treat itself!
Choo Choo Charlie's in Kenosha
This train-themed restaurant inside a Metra station can be accessed via their streetcar and is perfect for young and old who are obsessed with trains.
Ehler's General Store in Cornucopia
In operation since 1915, this general store way up on Lake Superior has everything you could ever want, including history, nostalgia and amazing cinnamon rolls!
Witch's Gulch in Wisconsin Dells
This awesome little slot canyon transports you to another world. You'll find some awesome views and a lot of perspective as you meander through this slot canyon.
Ella's Deli - Madison
Located in Madison, this place is an icon. Make sure to ride the carousel out front and save time for looking around at all the mechanical toys that stuff this place to the gills.
Timm's Hill - Wisconsin's highest point
In west-central Wisconsin near Tomahawk is Wisconsin's highest natural point. At 1,951 feet, the view from the top of Timm's Hill can't be beat.
American Science and Surplus -
This quirky little store in West Allis is home to the biggest, oddest conglomeration of stuff you've ever seen. Prepare to spend awhile roaming through the aisles finding things you never knew you needed!
Karcher Springs - Burlington
Natural springs provide the water to this natural area. The crystal clear waters are home to tons of flora and fauna to check out.
Natural Bridge State Park - North Freedom
The sandstone is 1.6 billion years old and the views are breathtaking at this pretty park with so much history in North Freedom.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens -
This free gardens feature 16 acres of beauty and a Thai pavilion that was a gift and is the only one that exists outside of Thailand.
