The Dreamy Flower Farm In Wisconsin You’ll Want To Visit This Spring
When it comes to dreamy places, Wisconsin’s got a few – and Monches Farm is one of them. Tucked away in the tiny town of Colgate, the farm features colorful fields of flowers, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a 2-story gift shop. Luckily, it’s getting ready to open for the spring season, so you won’t have to wait long to visit. Take a look:
Monches Farm is hiding in Colgate, an unincorporated community in Washington County, straddling the county line with Waukesha County.
Opened in 1980, Monches Farm features a variety of field-grown perennials. But that’s not all; the farm also carries herbs, dried flowers, gifts, antiques, and garden decor.
…there are several display gardens. Paths wind through the gardens, making them easy to navigate. Be sure to have your camera ready - there are plenty of photo ops!
A vintage greenhouse only adds to the farm’s charm. Like something from a gardener’s dream, the antique glasshouse is filled with a variety of flora – including many hard-to-find plants.
No visit to Monches Farm would be complete without a visit to the gift shop, which is stocked to the brim with home and holiday décor, local crafts, and more.
Monches Farm is located at 5890 Monches Rd., Colgate, WI 53017. For more information, call (262) 966-2787. You can also visit the farm’s website or Facebook page.
