10 Photos Of Wildlife In Wisconsin That Will Drop Your Jaw
Lions and tigers and bears...oh my! Well, not so much the lions and tigers but we definitely got bears up in Wisconsin. The good thing is that they tend to throw a lot of interceptions. :) But in all seriousness, we have some great wildlife all around us...whether we know it or not! Here are some of the best Wisconsin wildlife shots I've stumbled upon.
1. In Wisconsin, there are tons of opportunities to see a bald eagle soar. Really, there's nothing like it. This handsome fella was chilling in Starks.
2. This little baby black bear was waiting for his mama in Long Lake. What a sweetheart.
3. There are some pretty big sturgeons up in Wisconsin. I've seen plenty of your guys' photos on Facebook. But have you ever seen such a little guy before like this one pictured here? Photo was taken at a hatchery in Genoa.
4. A post about Wisconsin wildlife would be incomplete without a picture of a badger. This guy was taking a snooze in Madison.
5. New thing to have nightmares about: apparently mountain lions can climb trees! This big cat was looking for his next snack in northwest Wisconsin.
6. This osprey is leaving home (Rock County) in a hurry. Hey little guy, you forgot your cellphone!
7. What's more precious than an adorable little fawn? Answer: TWO. These siblings were eating up in Oneida.
8. These trumpeter swans are total divas! Here they are enjoying the waters of Lily Lake.
9. Guys this wolf spider is freaking me out!!! Good news: the bite hurts like heck but it won't kill you. Bad news: they swim. I'm staying away from Menomonie just to be sure.
10. This timber wolf looks so angelic while he sleeps. Whoever took this picture is really brave though, let's be honest!
Have some great shots of Wisconsin wildlife you got either from your hikes or on the trail cam? Be sure to post for your fellow readers.
