Small-town Wisconsin is home to some great dining spots – and Farmstead is one of them. You won't forget a visit to this remote location that's housed in a 150-year-old fieldstone farmhouse. Even better, the fare is as memorable as the surroundings. Take a look:
Located in Cedarburg, Farmstead has been serving up great food with a side of fun for more than 20 years.
A true hidden gem, the "pocket-sized" restaurant is not only hiding in a small town, but it’s housed in an unassuming farmhouse.
The restaurant’s exterior appearance is just the beginning, though. Step inside, and you’ll find a rustic interior, complete with an antique farm motif and warm lighting.
But quirky décor and a laid-back ambiance aren’t all Farmstead is known for.
Over the years, the longtime local favorite has garnered a reputation for garlic glazed steaks, which are grilled to perfection behind the bar in the diners’ view.
Steak may be the specialty, but it’s not all you’ll find on the menu.
Burgers, sandwiches, seafood dishes, and hearty salads are also part of the fare.
Farmstead is a popular spot, so you'll likely need to wait for a table. The eatery doesn’t take reservations, so it’s best to arrive as early as you can.
Between the cozy surroundings and tasty fare, it's no wonder Farmstead is a Cedarburg favorite.
So, are you ready to see (and taste) what all the fuss is about?
