One Of The Nation’s Best Italian Restaurants Is Wisconsin’s Very Own Ristorante Bartolotta
Craving some authentic Italian food? Well, you’re in luck; Wisconsin is home to one of the nation’s best Italian restaurants — Ristorante Bartolotta. But this ranking is nothing new. Since opening, the eatery has consistently been rated among the state’s best Italian restaurants. Take a look:
Opened in 1993, Ristorante Bartolotta is located in a former brewery in downtown Wauwatosa.
Last year, The Daily Meal released a list of “America’s 50 Best Italian Restaurants” and Ristorante Bartolotta landed the No. 12 spot. Not surprisingly, it wasn’t the first time the restaurant was recognized.
Well deserving of its many accolades, the eatery’s menu features “rustic Italian cuisine" — and that includes a variety of pasta that's made fresh daily.
In addition to traditional dishes, the fare includes lots of unique culinary creations, such as the Uovo in Ravioli. A must-try, the dish features one large raviolo filled with ricotta, spinach, and runny egg yolk.
Ristorante Bartolotta opens at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, call (414) 771-7910. You can also visit the eatery’s website or Facebook page. Have you ever dined at Ristorante Bartolotta? If so, what’d you think? Know of another great Italian restaurant?
