Your Head Will Turn If You Walk Past These 11 Spots In West Virginia

West Virginia has some great artists. Luckily for us they have done some amazing public murals for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of them:

1. This one that artist Charly Jupiter Hamilton did on Charleston's West Side.

2. This one at the entrance to Welch.

3. This mural of the painting “Mining Village” by Stevan Dohanos is on the Forest Building in Elkins.

4. This mural depicting the city's history is painted onto the flood walls in Point Pleasant.

5. This one, from Artist Rebecca Recco is called “Power” and is painted onto the back of a building on Lewis Street near Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.

6. This one, located on Elizabeth Street in Charleston, is by artist Rob Cleland.

7. Artist Deborah Dorland did this mural of the city seal of Buckhannon in the town’s downtown area.

8. This mural located in Chicory Square in Bluefield.

9. This painting of several historic buildings in Harrisville, including the Whitehall Motel, the General Thomas Harris Home, the Ritchie County Courthouse, St. Lukes U.M. Church and the Thomas Harris Museum, is painted on a retaining wall in Harrisville.

10. This mural is on the side of the Oil & Gas Museum in Parkersburg.

11. This mural called “Homecoming” is in Mullens.
