View West Virginia’s Summersville Lake Like Never Before From The Cliffs On Long Point Trail

We don’t have ocean access in West Virginia, but we do still have some pretty amazing water views! One of the most gorgeous is Summersville Lake, as viewed from the end of the Long Point Trail.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Have you hiked Long Point Trail before? What are some of your other favorite hikes or activities in the Summersville Lake area? It’s such a beautiful area, and we’d love to hear your favorite ways to enjoy it!
