1. Franklin Falls
Our wine and waterfalls day trip in Washington begins with a 2-mile hike along Franklin Falls trail, which you'll find near Snoqualmie Pass. It's a nice, easy, brisk hike, and the visual reward is well worth the effort.
2. Snoqualmie Falls
Next, stop by Snoqualmie Falls and take in the views. Measuring 268 feet, this majestic waterfall is actually taller than Niagara Falls by 100 feet. You won't need to hike here; in fact, the falls are located just a stone's throw away from the parking area. Without a doubt Snoqualmie Falls is among the most beautiful waterfalls in Washington.
3. Chateau Ste. Michelle, Woodinville
Woodinville has some fantastic wineries, mostly from iconic Eastern Washington vineyards. Chateau Ste. Michelle looks like something straight out of Europe, and the wine is exceptional.
