1. QQ Sushi, 1902 W. Francis Ave., Spokane
You may be wondering just how good a small sushi spot in a strip mall in Eastern Washington can be. The answer is: Very, very (very) good. And it's clearly made with love.
2. Wild Fired Pizza, 8501 Ahtanum Rd., Yakima
Do not be fooled by the exterior of this building, which boasts the combination Hardware, Grocery and Brews. If you pass it by, you'll be missing out on some of the best pizza on the planet (or at least in Central Washington).
3. Barnacle, 4743 Ballard Ave. NW., Seattle
This tiny little bar sits adjacent to the esteemed Walrus & The Carpenter, and if you can grab a seat at the bar, you'll be treated to some of the best small bites in the city. The menu changes daily based on local availability and the chef's creativity.

Located inside the Skamania General Store, this tiny cafe doesn't have room for many. But if you manage to score a table, prepare to enjoy an amazing breakfast or burger -- just make sure you save room for baklava.
