For many of us, the events of the past year have led to us spending more time outdoors. And since outdoor hangouts are still preferable, we’re thrilled to report that Washington’s new sculpture forest is now open to the public. There's never a bad time to visit Whidbey, and late winter happens to be a nice, quiet time to go.
But he realized that if he ever sold it, the century-old native forest would likely be cleared away for the views. So he decided to do something more meaningful.

He was inspired to create a sculpture garden here after visiting several himself. And so, Washington's sculpture forest was born.

With over a half-mile of trails, the outdoor gallery features 25 sculptures from artists across the Pacific Northwest and the United States.
The location for these unique sculptures really couldn't be more perfect.
Better yet, you'll have access to a free self-guided tour you can download to your smart phone (no app required). Donations are accepted and appreciated to help keep the park well-maintained and running smoothly, but the art is available to everyone.
Coupeville’s 1.5-mile walking path extends directly from the downtown area to the sculpture forest, so it's easy to find.
