One Of The Oldest Family-Owned Restaurants In Washington Is Also Among The Most Delicious Places You’ll Ever Eat

The past few years haven't been easy ones for the restaurant industry. We've seen a lot of great Washington restaurants close their doors for good, so it's important to support the long-standing tried-and-true eateries that have survived. Luckily, a lot of fantastic family-owned restaurants remain, and some of them are better than ever.

It's hard to believe that Noah’s Ark Restaurant in Bremerton is almost half a century old, but this family-owned restaurant has been serving up tasty comfort food for decades. This isn't a place to go for fine dining, but it is the best place to go when you're craving a casual, simple meal that happens to be delicious.

Noah's Ark is located at 1516 6th St. in downtown Bremerton.

Bremerton is best known for being home to Naval Base Kitsap, but its waterfront location makes it a great tourist destination.

Naoh's Ark first opened its doors in 1974, when Nick Garguile decided to open a fun, casual diner-style restaurant.

Now in its second generation, Noah's Ark remains a family-owned business. The team is also known for treating their employees like family, one of the values that's important to them.

This place isn't fancy — and it doesn't have to be.

Place your order at the counter and enjoy it in the dining room or take it to-go.

If you're stumped on what to get here, you can't go wrong with the Classic Philly Steak (or one of their variations).

The team has spent years perfecting their Philly cheese steaks, and it shows.

Of course, the burgers here are also phenomenal.

They're all made fresh, grilled to perfection, and served on toasted sesame buns.

Make sure you finish your meal with a hand-dipped milkshake. Trust us.

They are worth saving room for.

Noah's Ark is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday - Saturday.

The next time you find yourself in Bremerton, give them a try.

If you're a local, what do you like to order from Noah's Ark?
