More than 5,000 people who live across the United States were surveyed, and while California came out on top, Washington landed the No. 4 spot on the list of America's most desirable states.

Washington State is undeniably beautiful. From emerald green forests and snowcapped mountains to coastal gems and thriving communities of all sizes, there is so much to love about Washington. Temperate weather, no state income tax, and low crime rates also add to the appeal.
