A few years ago, igloo dining was a brand new luxurious concept that provided a unique alternative to traditional fine dining. But due to the events of the last couple of winters, it's now a more common way for our local restaurants and bars to provide safe outdoor dining while protecting patrons from the elements. Still, nothing quite compares to the igloo dining you'll find at Seattle's fancy French bistro, Maximilien. Not only are the igloos enchanting, but the Puget Sound views are unreal.

Maximilien is located at Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market, in between Don and Joe's Meat and the Market Spice Shop.

The igloos are cozy but spacious, and they can accommodate five guests comfortably.

That being said, this is the perfect spot for a romantic date night for two. Just make sure you dress for the occasion. While the igloos warm up like greenhouses, they are't heated, so you'll want to dress accordingly.

When you choose Le Igloo, you'll be given a custom-tailored menu with a rotating theme.

Trust us when we say that, while the igloo experience is amazing, it's far from the only reason to dine here.

The food is outstanding, earning the eatery a reputation as one of the best in the city (which is saying a lot).
