You Can Still Sip 69 Cent Coffee At Just Joel’s Cafe In Washington
Have you ever met someone and just instantly wanted the best for them? According to the vast majority of Washingtonians who have met Joel Watson of the Tri-Cities, that’s how it feels to get to know the owner of Just Joel’s Cafe, an unassuming little diner in Kennewick. While this place has stayed largely off the grid since it opened a few years ago, it’s a beloved local treasure to those who do know about it.

Joel opened the doors in November of 2017 with the help of his friend, Marcus Hoffman.
Having been down on his luck a few times himself, he's set out to help the community however he can. He's supported youth sports, held pie drives to buy coats for those in need, and goes to great lengths to make the community a better place.
Nothing is microwaved here. No corners are cut. Everything is made from scratch, and it's fantastic.
In fact, all prices are reasonable here, which keeps people coming back for more.
You might end up taking some of your meal home for later, although you might not be able to resist finishing it.
Just make sure to save room for dessert, or at least get some pie to go. The homemade pie here is out of this world.
The restaurant is small, and it's extremely popular. If you can't get a seat right away, takeout is (thankfully) available.
