Obviously, these eateries are popular in Texas, hence the name of a certain nationwide chain restaurant. But did you know we have a Texas-style roadhouse right here in Washington? If not, allow us to introduce Jimmy Mac’s Roadhouse.

Both locations resemble Texas-style diners you might find on a Lone Star State Highway in the 1950s.
The hardwood floors in the dining room typically have peanut shells on them from the "appetizer" you'll get at your table.

Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse is open daily at 11 a.m., serving lunch and dinner until 8 p.m. (9 on the weekends).
