There’s A Texas-Style Roadhouse Hiding In Washington, And It’s Fantastic
Traditionally, a roadhouse is a casual roadside restaurant, often found a long highways in rural areas. Obviously, these eateries are popular in Texas, hence the name of a certain nationwide chain restaurant. But did you know we have a Texas-style roadhouse right here in Washington? If not, allow us to introduce Jimmy Mac’s Roadhouse.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Both locations resemble Texas-style diners you might find on a Lone Star State Highway in the 1950s.

Vintage signs, license plates, and Texas memorabilia decorate the walls.

Whether you go for a classic sirloin or a giant Texas Filet, you won't be disappointed.

Wash it all down with an ice cold beer or specially crafted cocktail, if you imbibe.

Try a pulled pork sandwich or some BBQ baby back ribs for a true Texas experience.

Just save some room for the famous yeast rolls, which are served fresh from the oven.

Their entire menu is available for takeout until we can dine together again.
