Here’s Why Exploring More Of Washington Should Be Your Only New Year’s Resolution
Washington welcomes millions of tourists every year. But for those of us lucky enough to call it home, it’s easy to take it for granted. Why not make 2018 The Year of the Staycation and just explore Washington instead of traveling out of state? There’s a lot to see here, and it’s all pretty special.
There's the mystical, otherworldly Olympic Peninsula with its amazing beaches...
... not to mention the amazing Hoh Rainforest, a must-see.
There's really no better place to be on a hot summer day than the Palouse.
A long country drive with the right playlist will soothe your soul.
Walla Walla has all the amenities of a city with plenty of small town charm, not to mention their abundance of great wine.
And when is the last time you visited Spokane?
The city is always growing and changing, and there's a lot to see and do.
Spend some time on the Long Beach Peninsula to relax and recharge.
There's nothing like a seaside stroll, and we're lucky to be a coastal state.
And don't forget about our charming mountain towns, like Winthrop...
... and, of course, Leavenworth is always a good idea.
There are no bad days here.
Washington has the most spectacular hiking trails, and you're missing out if you don't experience them.
This is the beautiful Lake 22 Trail.
It's always fun to take a walk on the Seattle waterfront... and if you have time, hop a ferry to Bainbridge Island.
And nothing compares with the breathtaking beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.
