The Pierogi Restaurant In Washington That’s Wonderfully Authentic
Sebi's Bistro in Seattle offers authentic and delicious Polish pierogi and other delicacies.
Pierogi are stuffed dumplings popular in Eastern Europe. They're absolutely delicious, and luckily, you don't have to hop an international flight to enjoy them. Washington has a few great spots for pierogi, and Sebi's Bistro in Seattle is at the top of the list.
Sebi's Bistro is located in Seattle's quiet Eastlake neighborhood.
And locals agree that it's a true hidden gem.
You know the food is authentic when the restaurant has regular European customers like this one does.
It's not unusual to see Polish patrons gathered around the table enjoying the food.
The eatery is owned by the Kanczugowski family, who wanted to bring traditional Polish cuisine to Washington.
Sebi is the nickname of the owners' oldest son, Sebastian.
The pierogi here are perfectly plump and expertly prepared.
Head chef Kamila Kanczugowski was born and raised in a small Polish town and grew up cooking for her younger brother. She learned to cook from her mother and aunt, eventually attending culinary school here in America.
You've never had comfort food like this.
The pierogi comes stuffed with the filling of your choice, and at $13, it's pretty affordable.
If you're not in the mood for pierogi, Sebi's Bistro serves plenty of other delicacies as well.
The Polish crepes are phenomenal, and their pizzas come topped with a housemade sauce.
Address: 3242 Eastlake Ave East, Seattle, WA, 98102
