This Abandoned Cinema In Washington Is Now A Haunted House

Are you ready for another spooky season? Washington always has a fantastic selections of haunted houses, haunted orchards, and even a creepy haunted morgue. But did you know that, through October, we also have a haunted abandoned cinema?

The Cinema of Horrors Haunted House has once again taken over the cinema at Three Rivers Mall in Kelso — and this year, it’s shaping up to be better than ever. Prepare yourself.

The Cinema of Horrors has been terrorizing the residents of Kelso and beyond for the better part of a decade.

Every weekend throughout October, guests gather to be scared senseless (but it's all in good fun, of course).
This year, you'll have your choice of two haunted attractions, depending on your preferences and comfort levels.

You can either walk through the old, abandoned Three Rivers Cinema, or drive through the Clark County Fairgrounds in Ridgefield. The Cinema of Horrors is the original event.
Every year, you may recognize some of the same scary characters, but new themes, rooms, and additions are always being added.

In other words, you'll never scream for the same thing twice.
This year, there's a new attraction: Dark Legends of New Orleans.

NOLA is a city of voodoo, witchcraft, and terrifying ghost stories, so it's sure to be a scary addition.
While the haunted house is considered an all-ages event, it's not advisable to bring young children with you.

If you'd prefer a more family-friendly affair, the team will offer slightly less scary "Trick or Treat Nights" for families with children under 13.
The haunted house is the main attraction, of course, but you can also try delicious fair food vendors and catch occasional performances while you wait (or after you survive).

This attraction has been ranked the #2 Must See Haunted House in all of Washington State and received numerous local awards, so you know you're in for a (terrifying) treat.
