A recent publication of the best bourbon bars in the U.S. recently highlighted Virtue Feed & Grain in Alexandria, Virginia as a top destination in the South. In addition to its impressive variety of whisky, this restaurant is equally famous for its food menu.
Virtue Feed & Grain can be found in an historic building just steps away from the Potomac River on the Alexandra Waterfront. In fact, this building once served as an historic hay house in the 1800s.
This spot is first and foremost a restaurant; however, there's a full bar inside that is impressive on every level. From the most discerning bourbon drinkers to those that prefer a casual beer, there's something for everyone on the menu.
