Interestingly enough, if you were to travel from Chincoteague to Abingdon, it would take nearly 8 hours of driving time! Abingdon is famous for its proximity to some of the region's best outdoor attractions: endless Blue Ridge Mountain hikes and the Virginia Creeper Trail.
