Tackle A 10-Story-High Snow Tubing Hill At Wintergreen Resort In Virginia This Year
Cold weather may be creeping in, but that’s no reason to stay indoors all season. Why not venture to Wintergreen Resort, where winter activities are embraced and you’ll delight in all the cold-weather adventures. At the top of that list is The Plunge, a 10-story-hill tubing hill that promises hours upon hours of exhilaration. The tallest and largest tubing park in Virginia is gearing up for its best season yet and you surely won’t want to miss out on the fun.

The motto at Wintergreen Resort is "every day is a snow day," and that's certainly true thanks to the resort's state-of-the-art snow machines.
While Wintergreen has been a beloved ski destination for years, there's another equally memorable activity you can enjoy high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Aptly named, The Plunge is the tallest and largest tubing park in the state.
With all of your equipment and safety gear in place, you'll be ready to zoom downhill at speeds of up to 30 MPH. That may sound modest until you realize that you're on a snow tube, not a moving vehicle.
Whether it's your first visit to The Plunge or you've been enjoying this winter attraction for years, you'll be glad you made snow tubing a part of your year.
