Yet even still, some hikes stand apart for their sheer beauty and overlooks they lead to. One such example is Clyburn Ridge Trail in Hungry Mother State Park. With its gorgeous terrain, challenging inclines, and beautiful mountain overlook, this trek could be classified as a classic Virginia trail.

Hungry Mother State Park, located in southwestern Virginia, offers a breathtaking abundance of natural beauty. This state park was opened in 1936 as one of the six original Virginia State Parks.
