It’s summer in Vermont – time to cool off and enjoy time outdoors. Since we still have to eat, these waterfront restaurants in VT are perfect to catch up with friends, have dinner with the family, or a chill date night with your favorite someone. Who’s ready for some summer dining in Vermont?

Great salad bar, fantastic food and views that are simply extraordinary. A perfect place in the Northeast Kingdom.
3. Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery - 36 Bridge St, Brattleboro
A great place with quality food and a fantastic beer selection. The brewery is located right on the Connecticut River and has great views and a nice patio. There's also a state line that runs through the place separating Vermont and New Hampshire, so you can drink a beer in two states at once.

The perfect place to go on a summer date night. Great atmosphere, good food and cold drinks. Mussel apps are super starter and the caesar with lobster is incredible. A+ for a creative presentation for this dish!
9. Bailiwicks on Mill - 98 Mill St, St. Johnsbury
The deck at Bailiwick's offers serene views of the little hydro-power dam in St. Johnsbury. It's quiet and peaceful and they sure know how to put the "AHA" in your Ahi Tuna!
10. The Marina - 28 Spring Tree Rd, Brattleboro
The lobster or scallop pie is highly recommended by the locals, and after one bite you'll know why. We don't know what we enjoy more - the food or the sunsets!
11. Simon Pearce - The Mill, 1760 Main St, Quechee
Overlooking the waterfall and covered bridge, the views from the restaurant are breathtaking. You'll enjoy a multitude of indulgent choices served on Simon Pearce's famous glasswares.
12. The Red Mill - 4800 Basin Harbor Rd, Vergennes
The Red Mill is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal from burgers to gourmet dinners. You'll love the great bar and friendly staff as much as the delicious food. There is a playground for small children to enjoy and you never know when you will see a plane land or take off at their airfield.
