If you think you can't get a decent breakfast at a truck stop - think again! This is one of the best breakfast spots in all of Vermont. Delicious food, great prices and the portions are absolutely massive. Be sure to try their famous maple cream pie too.
2. Philamena’s - 41 Elm Street, Montpelier
Philamena's caters to the gluten-free and dairy free eater and it's all fantastic. Biscuits with ricotta, fresh fruit, over the top eggs Benedict, Tomatoes three ways and more.
3. McCarthy’s Restaurant - 454 Mountain Road, Stowe
Head to McCarthy's where it's St. Patricks Day all year long. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly.

This is one of the most happening spots in the area, and if you can't decide what to get, the blue plate special is always a good way to round down the number of options to a manageable level.
