We all love a good swimming hole on a hot summer day. They’re pure, free, and guaranteed to please. Pike’s Falls in Jamaica is more than just a cool spot to take a dip because here you’ll find both a waterfall and a smooth area of bedrock that makes a perfect waterside. We’ve written here about the nearby Hamilton Falls for its incredible falls (we don’t recommend swimming there, though!), but this is a natural waterpark in VT that you simply won’t want to miss.

Getting to Pikes Falls is fairly easy if you know what to look for. As you head to Jamaica on route 100/30, turn South onto Pikes Falls Road. At the first fork in the road, bear to the right (staying on Pikes Falls Road). A few miles down the road bear right at the next fork (again, staying on Pikes Falls Road). After about 2 miles look for a dirt turnout on the left-hand side of the road across from a white house. Please be respectful of this amazing spot and be sure to carry out whatever you carry in. Happy swimming!
