This Countryside Go-Kart Track In Vermont Is An Awesome Summertime Activity
There’s nothing like the thrill of zooming around a go-kart track in hot pursuit of your friends! This fun, family-oriented go-kart track and activity park in Vermont is the perfect place to spend a laidback summer day. Here’s what you need to know about visiting.
Sunset Playland in Bennington has been a summer staple for years. Now, the park has re-opened with all new attractions and one wickedly fun go-kart track.
The park allows guests to hop into a lightweight go-kart and zip around the fresh track with their friends. You’ll be fully strapped in and secure as you try to beat your friends or coworkers to the finish line. Rides are just $7 per person.
Unlike some tracks, all you need to bring to this go-kart park is your sense of fun. They provide the carts and all safety equipment.
Go-kart drivers must be at least 10 years old and 56 inches tall, though younger guests can ride with adults.
When you’re done zooming around the track, why not enjoy a round of mini golf? The 18-hole course is surrounded by scenic mountain views and features recognizable Bennington and Vermont landmarks. You can play for $7 per person.
You can also test your baseball skills at the Playland’s batting cages. Swing for the fences in the fastball cages or keep it casual in the slow pitch cages.
When you’re all tuckered out, be sure to stop by the ice cream stand and dairy bar for a taste of something sweet. Don’t forget a juicy hot dog or a bag of crunch popcorn!
This attraction is open Thursday through Sunday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. You’ll love your visit to Sunset Playland so much, we bet you’ll be back again and again.
