3. The Hippie Chickpea (Montpelier)
This new chef-owned restaurant opened its doors on Elm Street in Montpelier in 2018 and serves delicious and affordable Middle Eastern fare with ingredients sourced from local farmers in the region. Dishes include flavorful cauliflower tahini, delicious organic hummus, and crunchy falafels. They are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
4. El Cortijo Taqueria Y Cantina (Burlington)
At El Cortijo Taqueria Y Cantina, you can find a hip and trendy interior and authentic Mexican cuisine. They serve delicious tacos, burritos, and bowls, and they also make savory margaritas and cocktails.
5. Casey's Caboose (Killington)
Serving mouth-watering burgers and fries, Casey's Caboose is, you guessed it, a train-themed restaurant in Killington. The unique restaurant offers guests great food and drink from two old renovated railcars.
6. The Scale Poke Bar (Williston)
The Scale Poke Bar in Williston is a build-your-own Hawaiian-style restaurant serving poke bowls made from local meats and produce. From delicious sushi to gluten-free and vegan options, The Scale Poke Bar has a dish for everyone. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
