Trestle Tavern is located in the 15th and 15th area of Sugarhouse, and it's a gem well-worth finding. It's tucked between The King's English bookstore and Mazza Restaurant.
You'll want to start your meal with a Trestle Pretzel, one of the house specialties. This hand-made pretzel has just the right texture and is served with some tasty pilsner cheese sauce.
The pierogies are another favorite to start with, or as a small meal. Choose from pork and smoked cabbage, potato and horseradish, or farmer's cheese - they're all savory and delicious.
