When it comes to Mexican food in Utah, you have a lot of choices. From fancy downtown SLC restaurants like Alamexo, to authentic meals at this little gas station in Springdale, you’ll find a range of tasty Mexican food in the Beehive State.
Recently, The Daily Meal named the best taco places in every state. The winner for Utah? A humble taco cart called Tacos Don Rafa.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. This humble little taco cart is popular with everyone from construction workers to office workers. Basically, if you love Mexican food and you work or live near downtown Salt Lake City, you're probably already addicted to these tacos.

Don't worry - the line goes pretty quickly.

Basically, they're delicious, authentic tacos, made with super fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly. The corn tortillas are homemade, and the veggies are chopped fresh every day, too.

Choose from carne asada, pastor, chicken fajita, chicken mole, bbq beef, carnitas, chile verde pork, head, pork stomach, pork skin in salsa, tongue or tripe.

The cooler next to the truck offers a few kinds of salsas, radishes, onions, peppers, cucumbers and more.

This is the most incredible $3 lunch you'll ever eat. The tripe and tongue tacos are $2/each.

The mobile taco truck roams around the valley. Don Rafa also caters tons of events, from birthday parties to fundraisers to weddings! Follow Tacos Don Rafa on Facebook to keep up with the latest locations.
