The Crazy One-Of-A-Kind Store You’ll Only Find In Utah

If you’ve ever driven north of Ogden along I-15, you’ve certainly seen Smith and Edwards. It’s an absolutely huge store with an even bigger yard around it, and it’s an adventure waiting for you to explore.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Smith and Edwards is a family-owned business that got its start in 1947 when Bert Smith and Lawrence Edwards started selling military surplus out of Bert’s backyard. Take a look at this video posted on YouTube by Smith and Edwards – it gives you a tour of the store.

Have you shopped at Smith and Edwards? What’s your favorite thing about this store? We love to hear your feedback and opinions.
