Friday: Stop by Hill Aerospace Museum

See dozens of aircraft, as well as tons of military vehicles, uniforms, ground equipment, and more. If you're into military history or aviation, you've got to check out this place. The museum is not only fascinating, but admission is free!

Friday: Stroll through Ogden's George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park

Friday: Grab dinner and hear live music at Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria

While you're in Ogden, you may as well eat some of the best pizza in the entire Beehive State. Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria dishes up some crazy good pies and they're rather affordable too. Most pizzas are less than $15 and sandwiches are under $10. Hang out and hear some live music as well. This spot isn't on our interactive map but you'll find it at 1895 Washington Blvd. in Ogden.

Saturday: Take the driving tour through the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge

Of course, the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a must-visit stop on one of the best cheap road trips in Utah. Bring your binoculars and a sense of adventure with you as you explore this area. You can take the 12-mile driving tour every day of the week from sunup to sundown and there's no fee. In February and March, expect to see bald eagles and keep your eyes open for pelicans which typically visit during the spring months.

Saturday: Grab lunch at Peach City Ice Cream Co Diner

Saturday: Arrive in Logan and visit Zootah (Formerly Willow Park Zoo)

Saturday: Spend the night at Riter Mansion

Sunday: Take a dip in the warm water at Crystal Hot Springs.

Soak and relax in the hot springs — they're open year-round! This is an excellent family destination that is fun and won't drain your budget.
