Anywhere you go around the country, you’ll encounter small towns that are quaint and cozy. We may be a little biased, but in Utah, we have some of the best small towns around. In fact, many of these small towns have downtown areas that you will not want to leave. You can find all types of attractions from shopping and dining to even historic sites in these areas. We’ve rounded up seven of the best Utah downtown areas in the Beehive State to show you just how lovely many of these small towns really are. Is your small town listed below?

1. Moab

Moab is an outdoor lover and adventure seeker’s paradise. It is near some of the best hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, and sightseeing that the Beehive State has to offer. However, downtown Moab is the perfect place to just relax. You will find a variety of places to eat including the Blu Pig and Zax Restaurant. You can even walk across the street from Zax Restaurant and enjoy a show at the Moab Backyard Theater.

2. Brigham City

Historic Downtown Brigham City is a must-see when visiting this northern Utah town. There is much to see in this beautiful downtown area including the Box Elder Tabernacle. Make sure to stop by Idle Isle Candies or the cafe. If you are in the mood to shop, visit one of the many unique stores like Three Goats Gruff or Impulsive Creations.

3. Tremonton

After visiting Brigham City, head north and you’ll come to the small town of Tremonton. This downtown area will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Stop by Mack’s Family Drive-In for a shake and hamburger and then walk into many of the locally-owned boutiques and gift stores that line Main Street.

4. Kanab

With the surrounding red rocks and plenty of trees, Kanab’s downtown area is almost magical. While there are many fun things to do and excellent restaurants to try, this small town in Utah is the perfect place to just enjoy the views, take a few pictures, and bask in the sunshine. Plus, did you know that many people consider Kanab as one of the coolest places in the West?

5. Heber City

Heber City is continually growing but its downtown area still has quite a small-town feel to it. When visiting this charming downtown area, make sure to stop at Dairy Keen. This vintage restaurant features a miniature train, delicious burgers, and fabulous shakes. It is one restaurant your entire family will enjoy.

6. Mount Pleasant

If you are looking for a downtown area in Utah that is absolutely stunning, Mount Pleasant is the place to go. Main Street in this small Utah town is filled with pioneer-era buildings. In fact, Mount Pleasant's Main Street is actually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

7. Price

No matter your passions, hobbies, or interests, you will find something you like in the downtown area of Price. This area is filled with a variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment attractions that are locally-owned and one-of-a-kind. Make sure you stop by Juniper Pizza Cafe which is located on Main Street and in a historic building.
