If you’re looking for a fun day trip with family or friends, head up to Ogden to visit Rainbow Gardens. This delightful spot offers a beautiful restaurant, gift shop, and hiking trail. Check it out:
Rainbow Gardens has been a family-owned destination since 1946. Nestled at the foot of Ogden Canyon, its backdrop is the beautiful mountains.
Start your meal with a Mormon muffin, the house specialty. Made from an old pioneer recipe, this warm walnut bran muffin is served with honey butter, and it's absolutely delicious.
This is a shopping experience unlike any other. Rainbow Gardens has 20 different departments that include everything from pretty houseplants to designer handbags. You'll also want to check out the large selection of homemade food items.
When you're all done shopping, head outside for a little fresh air and exercise. The Rainbow Trail serves as a trailhead for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, and also takes you to Birdsong Trail, a 2.4-mile loop.
Visit the Rainbow Gardens website to see the full menu and get a coupon for a free Mormon muffin! You’ll also want to check out its Facebook page to see what’s new there this week.
