When you're ready for an adventure, head to Bountiful. You'll find the Holbrook Canyon Trailhead right off Bountiful Blvd. There's a small parking lot across from the LDS Temple.

This pretty trail starts out going downhill, toward the creek. You'll find plenty of lush, green vegetation on either side of the trail.

This hike is perfect on a hot day, especially if you want to get your feet wet. You'll encounter several creek crossings along the way.

If you're hiking in the springtime, be prepared for some of the little footbridges to be covered with water. You'll want water shoes for this hike.

The pretty little brook creates a pleasant soundtrack for your hike in the canyon...

The trail makes its way back uphill, then winds through the canyon for a scenic tour. While this trail can be a little difficult to navigate in spots, it's definitely worth it for the atmosphere.

The trail is about 10 miles, out and back. You're welcome to bring your pup along on this hike; just make sure to clean up after him, and be aware that it's common to see rattlesnakes here.
