Some Of The Cleanest And Clearest Water Can Be Found At Utah’s Bear Lake

Utahns sure do love our lakes and reservoirs! Each is unique in its own way, but they’re all great places to enjoy a summer day, and they offer all kinds of recreation, from fishing and boating to paddleboarding and swimming. While you’re certain to enjoy a trip to any of our lakes, there’s one in particular that’s known for its clean, clear water.

Bear Lake is known as the Caribbean of the Rockies, and you'll see why the moment you lay eyes on it.

Bear Lake straddles the Utah/Idaho border. You'll find Bear Lake State Park in Garden City. From Logan, take US-89 north 40 miles.

Bear Lake State Park offers several campgrounds, a marina, concessions, and watercraft rentals (including ski boats, fishing boats, and jet skis). You can also rent water trampolines, paddleboards, and kayaks.
