For A Pretty Fall Picnic, Take The Short Trail To Bloods Lake In Utah
As the weather starts to cool off and the leaves start to change color, it’s time to plan some fall hikes. The Bloods Lake Trail was renovated just this summer, and it’s a short journey to a pretty lake. Fit it into your hiking plans soon – the road to the trailhead closes in November.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

To reach the trailhead, take Guardsman Pass to a well-marked parking lot.

This trail is easy enough for most kids to tackle, and it's a pleasant hike. The trail often has snow on it until mid-summer, and you'll want to make sure you get your hike in before November, when Guardsman Pass closes for the winter.
