Located on Center Street near Main Street, the Opera House was built in 1908 and made Beaver a cultural beacon in Utah. Its classical building is made of pink tuff. The Opera House was later used for community events, later renovated as a movie theater and then turned over to the Utah National Guard until 1955. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
