Located in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument awaits a breathtaking waterfall known as Calf Creek Falls.

There are actually two falls in the area, the Upper Calf Creek Falls which measures 88 feet and the Lower Calf Creek Falls which measures 126 feet.

The Lower Falls is the more popular of the two, considering it can be reached by a scenic 2.5-mile trail (just over 5 miles round trip).

The Upper Falls is much less known considering it requires much scrambling and adds about a mile to the trek. Experienced hikers and those prepared with plenty of water might enjoy this advanced adventure.

No matter which portion of the waterfall you experienced, you'll be enchanted by the backdrop of Utah's treasured Grand Staircase-Escalante natural area.
