1. Hemi Lighted Forest of Hope

The Hemi Lighted Forest of Hope is what Christmas is all about. This is a celebration of life and hope for children all over the world who have undergone radical brain surgery in hopes of living a life seizure free. A tree is lit for every child who has undergone Hemispherectomy Brain Surgery and who has registered with this foundation. The Hemi Lighted Forest of Hope, located at 6565 Ashley Drive in Cheyenne, runs from the middle of October through Christmas. Here's a preview by hemilightforest/YouTube.

2. Christmas In Casper

During the holiday season, downtown Casper

is transformed into a holiday wonderland – complete with an ice skating rink. Each year, the festive fun kicks-off on Small Business Saturday with a community tree lighting followed by a Christmas parade, during which, attendees can indulge in hot chocolate and cookies.

3. Healing Park

Every holiday season, the city of Casper and generous donors join forces to put on a very impressive light show that takes place in Healing Park on Conwell, typically beginning the Sunday before Thanksgiving. 4. Festival Of Lights

The Festival of Lights in Gillette is the largest holiday lighting display in the region with a million lights on more than 60 displays, two light tunnels, one computer choreographed animated display and many uniquely themed displays throughout Cam-Plex Park which is operated by Campbell County Parks & Recreation. The annual holiday light festival is free to the public and operates nightly throughout the holiday season, typically from mid-November through early-January. 5. Wyoming Territorial Prison Holiday Light Display

Over 10,000 lights make up the annual Wyoming Territorial Prison Holiday Light Display. Tune into 99.5 FM to listen to the music set to the holiday light extravaganza. The Wyoming Territorial Prison is located at 975 Snowy Range Road in Laramie. The show usually runs throughout the month of December. Check the Wyoming Territorial Prison website for details.

6. Cody Trolley Christmas Tour

The Cody Trolley Christmas Tour is a 50-minute drive through the best lit neighborhoods in Cody. Enjoy free hot chocolate, cider and Christmas cookies while singing Christmas carols.
