It's best know for Summersville Lake, which is definitely one of West Virginia's most gorgeous lakes.

But there's more than just the lake to see. Take a trip to Kirkwood Winery.
This family owned and operated winery is currently producing 39 different wines. They have free wine tastings daily.
Or explore Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park.
There are plenty of beautiful nature trails to follow, or you might even catch a reenactment of the civil war days.
