West Virginia Route 150 is known as the Parkway portion of of the Highland Scenic Highway in Pocahontas County. It can be accessed on the north end from routes 219 and 55, and on the south end from routes 55 and 39. There are no businesses or gas stations along this road, and very few homes or cars. It's not open to commercial traffic, and has a speed limit of 45 mph, although many travelers say they like to go slower to take it all in. It has an elevation of 4,545 feet at its highest point, providing a great view of everything below.
West Virginia's Route 150 is part of the Highland Scenic Highway through the Monongahela National Forest.
To the east, you'll see the The Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians.
To the west, you'll see views of the Cranberry Wilderness.
You'll also see the Cranberry Glades.
Near the halfway point, there's a trail that leads to the amazing Honeycomb Rocks.
An unusual weathering pattern helped to form these unique boulders. The short trail to the rocks is located 1.3 miles east of the Williams River Bridge.
A few other trails lead down to the Williams River.
This road is also very popular with bicyclists and motorcyclists.

There are several scenic overlooks along the route, as well as hiking trails, campsites, and picnic areas. There's no snow removal in the winter, so you probably won't want to drive if the weather is bad, but some people like to go snowmobiling and cross-country skiing during the winter months.
