Seeing The Massive Snow Sculptures In The Town Of Rutland, Vermont Will Be Your Favorite Winter Memory

Rutland Winterfest features a highly anticipated Snow Sculpture Contest along with various winter activities for all ages.

Every year, the town of Rutland puts on a great display of snow sculpture art at the Rutland Winterfest. If you thought your snowman was a great artistic wonder, come to the Snow Sculpture Contest and see for yourself the dexterous snow sculptors as they transform snow into eye-popping works of art.

From February 15th to the 22nd, the Rutland Winterfest will be underway with many activities and events. But the annual Snow Sculpture Contest will be the most anticipated event!

Talented snow sculptors from around the area will compete to design and build the best snow sculpture in town. The Snow Sculpture Contest is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2020.

If you want to try your hand at constructing a snow sculpture, you must register by Feb. 10th. Good luck!

The sculpting begins at 10 a.m., so arrive on time if you want to witness the making of these extravagant pieces of art.

There are two sculpting divisions: Amateur, for those who have not partaken in past snow sculpting events; and Pro, for those who have had previous experience with snow sculpting.
