I Don’t Ski, but the Snow Tubing in Utah Is Incredible
You don't have to be a skier or snowboarder to enjoy Utah's slopes in the winter. You'll love these snow tubing options in the Beehive State.
If you're looking online to find the best snow tubing in Utah, then you've come to the right place! Not everyone loves skiing and snowboarding, but almost all of us enjoy spending time outdoors—even in the winter. Snow tubing gives non-skiers and non-snowboarders the opportunity to enjoy a bit of a downhill thrill on a snowy day without all of the expense, effort, or potential danger of hitting the bigger slopes. Furthermore, snow tubing offers the opportunity to have fun with the whole family, as you ride up a lift and slide down a mountain while seated in a comfortable inflatable tube.
Below are our picks for the very best snow tubing experiences in the Beehive State. Bundle up and hit the slopes. The mountains are calling, and you must go!
1. Brian Head Resort

If you live in southern Utah, then Brian Head Resort is the perfect place for you to enjoy skiing, snow tubing, ice skating, and more. This resort offers 71 ski trails serviced by eight chair lifts and three surface lifts, and epic snow tubing that's fun for the whole family. Snow tubing sessions at Brian Head Resort are 1.5 hours long and include your tube rental and rides on the lift to the top of the hill. There are several tubing lanes, which means you'll have many opportunities to soar down the hill.
2. Soldier Hollow Nordic Center

Soldier Hollow Nordic Center is one of the best places in Utah for snow tubing. This was one of the venues for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, and in addition to tubing, Soldier Hollow also offers biathlon experiences, cross-country skiing and cross-country skiing lessons, and sports programs for all ages. People who visit Soldier Hollow for tubing will find well-groomed hills, two-hour tubing time slots, a conveyor lift, and accessible options. You'll also love the incredible views of the Heber Valley as you descend the slope and before you ride the lift back to the top.
Another great thing about Soldier Hollow Nordic Center is that it's open late for tubing! If you want to go in the evening, you can book the final time slot of the day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tubing isn't something you have to save for the weekend. Just get out there and go!
3. Woodward Park City

If you're looking for the best place to go snow tubing near Park City, then you'll want to rush to Woodward Park City. The vast number of lanes at this snow tubing location means you'll never have to wait! Several of the park's lanes are some of the longest snow tubing lanes in the state at 1,200 feet in length, and when you get to the bottom, you can ride the magic carpet lift back to the top to do it all over again. Tubing sessions are two hours, and you'll need a reservation to ride. Tubing is open to everyone ages three and up.
4. Wasatch Parc Snow Tubing

One of the very best places to go snow tubing in Utah is, without a doubt, Wasatch Parc Snow Tubing near Ogden. This snow tubing hill is a fantastic one for thrill seekers, as it's a bit different from the others on our list. The majority of snow tubing hills offer straight lanes or open tubing, but Wasatch Parc offers curvy lanes that offer a bit of extra fun. They're fast and furious and are more like a rollercoaster than other snow tubing experiences you may have had elsewhere.
Once you get to the bottom, you can attach your tube's tow rope to the lift, ride back to the top, and do it all over again. You can buy a ticket for a single ride, a two-hour pass, or a four-hour pass. Unfortunately, Wasatch Parc Snow Tubing is closed for the 2025-2026 season as they add numerous upgrades, but make a note of this special snow tubing adventure park now so you don't forget to visit next winter.
All four of these snow tubing hills are sure to offer you an enjoyable and memorable experience. Try one or try them all—you're sure to have a good time. Feeling inspired? Try planning your own trip using Only In Your State’s itinerary planner.
