Natchez Hills Vineyard in Middle Tennessee offers a unique blend of wine, music, and beautiful scenery, perfect for a day or weekend getaway.
You don't have to travel out to California to enjoy a weekend out on a winery, no - not if you live in Middle Tennessee. Head out to Hampshire for a day trip (or weekend!) to the gorgeous Natchez Hills Vineyard. There's a lot going on here, and it has something to do with music and wine and beautiful foliage. Care to visit with us?
The Natchez Hills Winery is owned and operated by the Odom family. It's was built from the ground up by the sweet couple, who dreamt up the vineyard to combine their two passions: wine and music.
Located outside Hampshire, Natchez Hills is a little over an hour south of Nashville. If you can't make the drive all the way out, however, the exact address to their off-site tasting room at the Fontanel is at 4125 Whites Creek Pike.
The winery is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 5pm, so it's perfect for an afternoon trip. Or a weekend, if you're like us. Why cut it short?
If you're looking to get away for longer than an afternoon, they also operate a bed and breakfast, featuring art and décor that celebrates Tennessee's artists, songwriters, and lifestyle.
While they don't have a restaurant on site, they do allow folks to bring their own picnics, as long as there isn't an event going on where food is available for purchase.
If you've always wanted to see ripe grapes on the vine, they recommend going in August. It's right before the harvest! You'll see the prettiest vines, dripping with juicy fruit.
Natchez Hills also offers event spaces for songwriters retreats, including a live rehearsal hall and professional tracking and production facilities.
What a neat place, wouldn't you say? It's a winery where hospitality is revered, and your experience is important. Visit for yourself at 109 Overhead Bridge Road in Hampshire, Tennessee. See ya there!
